Heart-rate zones and HR-weighted load

The same session at 120 and 175 bpm isn’t the same session. NEXT8 knows and calculates load from your real heart rate, not from a table.

What it is

Load that doesn’t lie

Two hours of easy jogging and two hours of intervals take the same time but do something completely different to the body. When load is calculated only from time and feel, that difference disappears. NEXT8 brings your heart rate into it.

How it works

Your HRmax, your zones

Zones are calculated from your real maximum heart rate in your profile, not from a generic “220 minus age”. A session with a higher average and peak heart rate gets a higher weight — and shows up in daily and long-term load.
